Terms & Conditions

Below you will find our terms and conditions, we suggest that you  read and understand them carefully before declaration of booking any packages.

1. Booking & Payment 

All clients can do book by completing the form on the website or by sending email to info@8000expeditions.com. All reservations require prepayment of 25% of the total price for the final reservation. Once you have made your deposit, the outstanding balance must be paid after arriving in Kathmandu.

Remarks: Please note that when paying by bank transfer, bank charges must be borne by the clients.

2. Cancellation Policy

 Once the trip is booked, the agency must arrange the staff, hotels, and transportation for the tour. The client must send this cancellation notice in writing by mail with a valid reason, and then the refund procedure will be carried out as follows

Cancellation 30 days to 2 months – 20% of trip cost

Cancellation 15-30 days before departure – 40% of trip cost

Cancellation 15 days before departure – 50% of trip cost 

The cost of Climbing Permits already purchased is not- refundable.

Note: The last minute booking can be made only up to 15 days before the trip. We do not charge for late booking but we will require full payment when booking your trip.

3. Travel Insurance. 

Travelers must purchase a complete travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation, etc. So, we strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

The price of the tour does not include travel insurance; all costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf.

4. Early Termination of a Trek.

Sometimes trekkers finish ahead of schedule due to health or any other personal reasons. Please understand that we do not provide any refund for days when the trek is not used. Our costs are the same as our guides and porters are obliged to pay for the time they do. Additionally, if any, customer wishes to travel alone by creating a detail, we will not accept the word conditions in those terms, but he/she will have the self-need to cover all expenses during the trek. Porter is charged an additional $ 20 per day if needed. 

5. Travel Documentation.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all details in your travel documents are correct and that any errors or discrepancies are immediately brought to our notice. Arranging travel documents with the Government of Nepal is very important and valuable to us. We recommend you bring personal documents such as a visa, passport size photo, ID card, insurance paper and valid passport with family contact details.

6. Extra Charge.

For all types of travel packages, we are guaranteed to provide the best service according to our package: on the basis of costs included and excluded. As soon as the trip begins if clients who do not wish to share the room with others with our participants, an additional room charge will be charged. Any additional costs incurred due to deviation from the itinerary by the clients will be paid directly by them.

7. Complaints

During the trip if you have any concern or complaints about the travel while travelling, you must notify your guide as soon as possible so that they can rectify the situations. In additional if you have any further complaints can be made to us via email or telephone.

8. Factors beyond our Control

Factors beyond our control, every effort will be made to adhere to the schedule, but most ventures will be in remote mountainous areas. We cannot guarantee that unforeseen factors will affect travel such as flight delays, bad weather, natural disasters and the health of team members. Be flexible if necessary.
