Yala Peak

Yala Peak is an ideal trekking peak in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is relatively easy and non-technical climb.

Yala peak is frequently climbing trekking peak in the Langtang region. No previous climbing experience is required to climb the Yala peak. Yala peak is a great choice for mountain beginners and those who want to expand their skills and knowledge.

This trip starts from Syabrubensi, which is located a few hours north of Kathmandu. Following the Langtang River from here, you go past Lama Hotel and continue to Langtang Village. As the views of the Langtang Himal range join you on the trek, you reach Kyanjin Gompa. Here, you can explore the local village or hike up Kenjing Ri (4770m) for acclimatize. The top of the peak offers a surreal vista of the Langtang and Naya Khang (5800m) peak with many peaks. Then the next day you will be trek up to Yala peak base camp for the climbing 5-6 hours. Our base camp will establish (4800m) and from base camp you can see Gangchempo (6388m), Tsego Ri (5,033m), Naya Khang (5800m) and Yala peak..Etc. At base camp, our climbing guide provides training to practice the skills.

On the day of the summit, we will start early in the morning. The climbing routes lead to a rocky with some snow slopes above the base camp. The yala peak summits offer to see most impressive Shishapagma (8013m), Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lakpa (6996m) and Gangchempo (6388m). The rest of the ridge has high peaks up to about 6500m on the Nepal and China border.
